Zola Electric is a startup that leverages lithium ion batteries and solar power to electrify over 1M customers’ homes across sub-Saharan Africa. I am one of the initial engineers to contribute to the INFINITY Integrated Power System (shown above), a grid tied smart solar AC battery home energy management system. Together with one other mechanical engineering team member I designed and oversaw the manufacturing of all of the mechanical components of this design.

Since the Infinity System was released in I was promoted to Snr. ME and then ME manager. From these positions I both contributed to and managed an international team that delivered the successful launch of Flex Max (shown below) in late 2022.

I am currently managing the development of 3 new energy storage and distribution products at Zola that have yet to be released to the market. I look forward to adding them here when they are made public.
